i'm finally home.

the day started off good..

went to The Arena, Tv Debate Exhibition; and the motion was "Exams are nothing". Upon revelation of the motion the whole theatre (of secondary school students) cheered and clapped.

As Zhixin said, it was a skewed motion. But everyone had fun nonetheless.

Adrian Pang was emcee, and he explained to us how The Arena worked. There were cool but disturbing animations and sound effects. As in, everytime before a round there's this countdown thing, and nearing the end of someone's speech the music gets louder and more threatening.

Zz sadists. Hahah.

I liked the second round the best:
The prop speaker started off like this "We all know that Sam(the opp speaker) has taken many exams and gotten very good results. We know that he has a good grasp of his knowledge in history and that he is wellversed in literature, ...in english, ... in chinese... he DID NOT do the ten years series front to back 3 times over, he DID NOT have teachers spotting questions for him, he DID NOT have teachers actually leaking out questions, no! he's intelligent...."

while the opp speaker, Sam, started off by describing the proposition as "a herd of turtles stampeding through peanut butter"

haha, tht line is pwn man, everyone joked about during the Q&A session. zz, apparently Opp won and Sam was best speaker.

After everything, we had to do this record. Adrian Pang standing before the whole of theatre, he says: Welcome to...
and we guys raise our hands and shout THE ARENA!! Its damn cool i regret not bringing my cam >.< Zz.

Zz. I thought the first was nice, but the team was demanding and kept asking for reruns. Pretty soon people were leaving in groups to go reception. In the end only schls like HC and CHIJ were around to make a small group record.

Then the group stomped their way to Swensens and had stuff like the Chocolate dunowat Blondie. Then i left and sat at first floor for about an hour waiting for my parents..

Then zzz.

Whatever happened after that was quite sad. I'm too tired and depressed to explain, but i would like to say it was fun at Joy's house. Cheer up Arias don't stress; Joy its ALRIGHT; and Sal.. enjoy WC haha..
